Designed to move, elevate, and discharge energy.
One of the things I wanted to capture was the frenzied and incongruous humor of cartoon music while maintaining a thematic unity between the tracks.
Together with my other album -Seven Cats- they form a "diptych" dedicated to our four-legged friends with ideas taken from Electroswing, a bit of synthwave, and a little EDM.

Notes for music lovers:
The idea was to create material from a main theme, which is presented in different contexts and slightly transformed in each of the tracks.
The mixture of styles is intentional, an experiment made to learn how to transition between different moods, and for personal taste.
Furthermore, the entire work was designed as another exercise to continue improving sampling, mixing, and mastering.

The exploration of form is not only present in the tracks but also in the way the album is structured.
For example, some of the tracks are presented in pairs, the first and last track share formal similarities, while tracks 3 and 4 share similarities in character.
Each track has its particular properties and is ordered so that the contrast between the album's first half and the second half is evident.

This work took about 8 months to complete. Given my current job, it took me a little longer to finish.
